Olduvai

On the way to Serengeti, this pass of 90 km, 40 m deep, breaks the monotony of the dry plains.

This site is considered as the craddle of humanity, many fossils of more than 2 millions years having been found there. Prints of hominides more than 3,5 millions years old have been found in the neighborhood.
