The Tanzanian parks can be visited all over the year. With seasons, the animals migrate, particularly the wildebeasts, who cross the Serengeti by hundred of thousands to reach the Maasai Mara in Kenya. This spectacular migration which can vary during the rain season, generally begins in June. In December the gnus are back to Serengeti and it is the time of births in February.
The dry season goes from June to October, the short rain season from October to December, the long rains from March to May.
